SARS Protection Event held in HK

During the SARS protection event, Sammi and Andy Hui did not talk at all. The newspaper said they are trying to escape looking at each other. Sammi looks very happy during the event. The artists that attended the event included Sammi, Andy Hui, Alan Tam, Hacken Lee, Andy Lau, GiGi Leung, Joey Yung, Cecilia Cheung, Aaron Kwok and Candy Lo. They sing the song "Hong Kong Heart" and "Tomorrow will be better" together during the event and the interview. Sammi also did a recital on one of the story called "Treasure". Sammi didn't show up at the HKFA which held on April 6th, according to the newspaper, Sammi is sick and because the SARS spreading, Sammi who has asthma, the Doctor advise Sammi not to go out.

Sammi's contract with Warner Music company almost expired. According to the magazine reports, Warner Music offered a contract renewal price of $30,000,000 to Sammi. They really wanted Sammi to stay. There are rumors about Sammi is going over to her ex-manager, Frankie Lee's company, Music Nation. But Warner said that's not true because they are sure that Sammi will stay with Warner. They already have plans for Sammi's upcoming album in May, they will spend $8,000,000 for the album promotion.

Sammi filmed a new version of Pepsi commercial. Sammi went to Kunming in China in a few days ago with Shine to promote for Pepsi. In this new version Ad. Sammi had a new and fresh image. On that filming day, Sammi feels very happy and looks very fit. Sammi putted on long eye lashes for this new look. Sammi thinks it is a very fresh and interesting idea.

Recently, Sammi is filming a new version of SK-II Advertisement on face whitening. This commercial shooting was different than other commercials, because the director allow Sammi to create her own commercial dialogue, that means she can act and say whatever she likes. Therefore, Sammi created some funny dialogue such as, (these translation are not exactly same as Chinese, of course, in English it will not sound as funny as in Chinese) "After used it, it's very white, so happy feel like celebrating in the restaurant" ; "have to give few drops to the director". The most funny sentence is "after used it, it's whiter than Michael Jackson". But the advertiser wanted to change that sentence because it mention other artist's name. Sammi and the director both think that sentence can describe the product result very effectively. The director and the advertiser discussed about should they keep that sentence or not. At the end, Sammi won't tell if the advertiser agreed or not. After the Ad. shooting, Sammi flied to Kunming in China to attend the Pepsi promotional event. Recently, there is pneumonia virus spreading around, Sammi worried she might catch it so she wore mouth protection. Sammi said because she has asthma, so she already get use to wear mouth protection. Sammi is very careful with cleanness in everyday live, all eating tools must be washed before use and she often wash her hands to keep clean all time.

Ng Kwok King will held his concert in HK Coliseum for the first time on June 10 and 11th. He invited all his good friends to be his concert special guest. They include, Andy Hui, William So, Sammi, Candy Lo and Mark Lui. But he said Andy Hui and Sammi will not perform at the same time because of their busy schedule.

Recently, Sammi is filming a new version SK-II whitening mask advertisement. The organizer brought Sammi to a skin doctor's office to find out more about laser whitening and observe some laser machines. Sammi was very interest with the laser whitening. However, she is scare to try the laser whitening herself. During the advertisement filming time, Sammi was playful. She took picture with herself and set the picture as her computer wallpaper. Also, Sammi brought a lot of high technology product along with her to waste time, such as PDA, Ipod, digital camera and Power Book, etc.

The 22nd HK Film Award Ceremony will be held on April 6th. According to the newspaper, the award organizer is inviting Sammi and Kelly Chen to give out the Best Actor Award, with such arrangement, it looks like Andy Lau and Tony Leung will be the winner.

According to the newspaper, the movie "Take away love day" directed by Kwak gum pang will be postpone again, because there is some problem with the movie scripts. The movie company is not satisfy with it so conflicts arose between the director and the company. Therefore, Sammi decided to shoot another movie with China Star movie company, the new movie is called "Fall in love in your bed". The story is originally from a radio drama, the actor will be Louis Koo and Lau ching wan. The movie shooting will start in May.

According to the newspaper, on March 25th, Sammi and Shine will go to Kun Ming in China attend the Pepsi cola promotion event. One of the member of Shine said his idol is Sammi, he was very happy that he saw Sammi in the Pepsi Charity Concert. But he didn't have chance to take picture with Sammi. He hope he will have chance to take picture with Sammi on the upcoming promotional event.
